Yes. There are 2 ways to power Aquaterior touchless faucets up, battery and electric power. A battery box and power cord are included in an Aquaterior touchless faucet. Using battery would be more convenient if no socket near where needs to be installed a faucet. And it is stable so you could still use the faucet if something is wrong with the electric power. The advantage of electric power is its reliable and uninterrupted supply runs the equipment efficiently and continuously. And you don't need to replace batteries when they are out.

Aquaterior - Bathroom Faucet: Are batteries included?/ What battery it takes?/ How long do batteries last?

Batteries are excluded cause they are not allowed to be included in shipping. Faucet takes 4pc AA batteries and it is recommended to purchase compliant and certified batteries for proper operation and your safety. Please install them in battery box as manual shows. Usually a batch of batteries can work 9-12 months, depends on batteries quality and faucet using frequency. Considering the possibility of aging battery performance. replacing a brand new batch of batteries every 6 months is more appropriate for faucet maintenance.

Aquaterior - Bathroom Faucet: Do I need to keep my hand close to the sensor for hot water?/ How can I get heat water faster?

Please note that water only flows when the sensor can sense your hand. You can keep you hand in front of the sensor until hot water starts to flow. How long the water takes to get hot depends on your water heater, not the faucet.
Why does it take so long to get hot water to my faucet?
The main reason is that the cold water in the pipes must be out before the hot water can get to the faucet. Any water left in the pipes will cool down, effectively becoming cold water. When you turn on the hot water faucet and the water leaves the heater, it must travel the distance to the faucet. The greater the distance, the longer it takes.
Ways to get hot water faster
1. Using a recirculation hot water system
A recirculation system has hot water always circulating through the system, so it can be available at every faucet immediately. The greatest advantage of the system is immediate hot water at every faucet and showerhead, which saves time and reduces the amount of wasted water.
2. Using a demand hot water system
A demand system works much like a recirculating system and can be added to existing houses. With a demand hot water system, a pump attaches to the hot and cold-water supplies. At the press of a button, the cool water recirculates back to the water heater through the cold water hose and water from the heater is brought to the faucet.
3. Using a tank water heater
A tank water heater provides a water heating source very close to a sink. A tank water heater is similar to the traditional whole-home tank water heater, but it is smaller.

Can I change an aerator to adjust GPM?

Given different purpose and needs, users can adjut the GPM of the faucet by replacing a different type aerator. Aerators screw into kitchen and bathroom faucets. Holes in the screens add air to the water as it streams out of the faucet. Faucet aerators are screens at the end of a faucet. The devices reduce the amount of water that comes out of a faucet and control the stream. If you need to adjust the GPM, please just remove the old one and replace a new one. Please refer to the uninstallation process according to the manual of the faucet.

How to remove the aerator?

Turn the aerator counter-clockwise (as viewed upward from below the spout) to unscrew it from the spout. If this does not work, try moving the pliers a quarter-turn around the aerator, and try unscrewing the aerator from the new position. (Moving to different positions can gradually loosen a stubborn aerator.)

Aquaterior - Bathroom Faucet: Why the water speed is low?

Generally, low pressure can be attributed to water supply and clogging in the aerator or filter gasket
1. Take off the aerator and filter gasket, see if there is anything clogging them. It is recommended to use an old toothbrush to clean them. Please note that there is a spare filter gasket included in the product, so if needed you can replace the gasket
2. If the water is still slow, please shut off water supply and uninstall the entire faucet.
3. Secure a pressure gauge to the water supply hose, turn on the tap and check the gauge reading. If the reading is lower than 60PSI, you have low water pressure and should contact a plumber for help. In case you don't have a water pressure gauge, you can use a 1-litre jug. You have a low water pressure if it takes more than 6 seconds to fill the jug.

No, the faucet direction is fixed after installation, and can only be turned in a specific direction. Please make sure the faucet is not able to be turn after installation cause it means the faucet has not been installed properly. Also, facuet would loosen and separate if it turns frequently, which could lead to leaking leaking. Given to this, please confirm the faucet is fixed on the desk after installation and the direction towards right as you want. And check the stability of the faucet every month in case any loosing and shifting.

How to clean water stains on my bathroom faucet?

Firstly, here are some tools and materials you need for cleaning.
1. Water
2. Spray bottle (Evenly attach cleaner to the faucet)
3. Dry clean towel (For drying the faucet after cleaning)
4. Vinegar or lemon juice, salt or baking soda. (Useful cleaner and remover)
5. Microfiber cloth or sponge (For cleaning water stains)
Making cleaning solution:
Vinegar or lemon juice: Mix same parts of water and vinegar or lemon juice. put this solution into an empty spray bottle and spray it on your faucet. Let the solution rest on it for at least 60 minutes.

The bathroom faucets don't currently have the option of controlling the water pressure. If you want the water to flow at a certain pressure or speed, you can use the handles, as you would on a normal faucet. For touchless sensor faucets, water flow is constant. You could adjust the water pressure from the hot and cold-water supply hoses. Simply rotate the taps on the hot and cold-water supply hoses to increase or decrease the water pressure.

1. Confirm if the faucet has been installed properly per the manual. If so, take off the aerator and filter gasket and clean them. Make sure they are not clogged or blocked.
2. Carefully check for leaks in the water supply hoses, joints/connections and the faucet body.
3. Disconnect te water supply hoses and faucet and open the taps of the water supply hoses to check if the water supply is normal. If not, check other taps in your house and confirm with your neighbors or contact the water supply company.
4. If you only get cold water or if both the hot and cold-water supply hoses only have cold water, check that your water heater is functioning properly.
5. During winter, low temperatures can freeze water in the pipes. Confirm with the water company if this could be an issue in your area.
