Does the Air Conditioner have to be connected with the window kit or can it be operated windowless? Is the water collected in the unit or drained into a separate container?

An air conditioner provides cold air inside your home or enclosed space by actually removing heat and humidity from the indoor air. It returns the cooled air to the indoor space, and transfers the unwanted heat and humidity outside. This cycle continues until your home has reached the desired temperature. An air conditioner has to be connected with the exhaust pipe (the window kit) to discharge heat outside when it is operating for cooling. If the exhaust pipe is not installed, heat cannot be exhausted but neutralized with the cooled air, and the cooling effect will not be achieved. If you use an air conditioner in a room with high relative humidity levels, you will see that this unit produces quite a lot of water, and all that water has to go somewhere instead of staying in the air conditioner. Our air conditioner comes with a drain hose, and there are two water outlets on the unit. Please connect the drain hose to the water outlet for draining the water out of the unit. You can leave the drain hose connected to the unit if it's positioned at a downward angle to drain the water. When the temperature sensor for Air Conditioner exceeds 38 degrees, the compressor will stop working, which is set to protect that part.

A. The temperature sensor for Air Conditioner exceeds 38 degrees, does not mean that the air conditioner temperature reaches 38 degrees and it will not start, it's for the temperature sense of the compressor. This is a protection mechanism to protect the compressor from damage caused by untimely heat dissipation during the use of the compressor
B. Generally, the indoor temperature rarely reaches 38 degrees. If the air temperature is too high, it can be started by physical cooling first, so that the temperature of the compressor drops.
C. It is important to dissipate heat during using the air conditioner. The heat exhaust pipe should be smooth, and do not fold and bend at a close distance of the machine. This will cause the accumulation of hot air and cause the local temperature to be high, which will easily increase the temperature of the machine and cause the compressor to stop running.
D. If the machine temperature rises and stops running due to the unsmooth hot air exhaust, please stop running the machine, arrange the hot air discharge pipe, and wait 5-10 minutes before restarting. During this period, you can use physical cooling (fan blowing) to speed up the machine temperature decline. (Note that the exhaust pipe must be tidy up smoothly

Why the air conditioner keeps heating?

1. Please confirm if coolling mode is working by checking its sign is on or off.
2. Please confirm the temperature indoor and outdoor. If the temperature outside is lower than inside, you may feel the air conditioner is under heating mode.
3. Voltage of the air conditioner is 1200W, please make sure the socket is able to handle 1200W or above. Cause compressor would not work if the air conditioner is unable to reach 1200W. Please make sure circuit or socket is with safety certificate and 1200W approval.

Draining water fill a 1.5 gallon tank. Is it normal?

The draining water is condensed water, which is formed by condensation of water vapor when it is getting cold. So draining water is proportional to the humidity of the air.

Is the air conditioner CCER cetificated?

CCER is Chinese Certified Emission Reduction. Since this air conditioner is not sold in China, so it does not come with CCER cetificated.

Is the Exhaust Hose necessary?

Since hot air drain from the connector on the air conditioner while working, so the Exhaust Hose is essential. If you don't put the hose on, hot air drains directly in the srea where you stay. (Please kindly note that the hose could get warm while air conditioner is working) Which makes the cooling effect is not ideal. So please put the hose on and make sure its end diretly towards outdoor.
