Can I change an aerator to adjust GPM?

Given different purpose and needs, users can adjut the GPM of the faucet by replacing a different type aerator. Aerators screw into kitchen and bathroom faucets. Holes in the screens add air to the water as it streams out of the faucet. Faucet aerators are screens at the end of a faucet. The devices reduce the amount of water that comes out of a faucet and control the stream. If you need to adjust the GPM, please just remove the old one and replace a new one. Please refer to the uninstallation process according to the manual of the faucet.

How to remove the aerator?

Turn the aerator counter-clockwise (as viewed upward from below the spout) to unscrew it from the spout. If this does not work, try moving the pliers a quarter-turn around the aerator, and try unscrewing the aerator from the new position. (Moving to different positions can gradually loosen a stubborn aerator.)

The handle for my bethroom faucet??works backward/ reversed, how can I fix it?

Normally, this situation is caused by an incorrectly installed cartridge, and it can be an inconvenience.
Tools you may need: Screwdriver, Pliers or adjustable wrench, Knife
How to adjust:
1. Shut off the hot and cold-water supply lines.
2. Take off the button or cap (this could be the hot & cold sign) from the handle with a knife. Remove the screw holding the handle to the cartridge stem, then remove the handle.
3. Remove the cartridge retaining nut using a pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench. Hold the cartridge by the stem and remove it from the faucet valve by pulling gently.
4. Rotate the cartridge 180 degrees. Align tabs with slots cut into the lip of the valve. Reinsert the cartridge. Thread the retaining ring on and tighten it. Place the handle back on the cartridge, screwing it on with the screw. Put on the cap.
5. Turn on the hot and cold-water supply lines. Check that it works properly and that it turns properly.

Yes, hot & cold water hoses and hot - cold cartridge are included. Please connect the included hot & cold water hoses to corresponding reserved hot & cold water outlets of the house. The cartridge on the inside of faucet is responsible for controlling water temperature according to the handle and knob.
Aqauterior offers hassle- free produsts, for the installation, the package content does not have hardware sets, you could prepare screwdriver if it's needed.

Aquaterior - Bathroom Faucet: Why the water speed is low?

Generally, low pressure can be attributed to water supply and clogging in the aerator or filter gasket
1. Take off the aerator and filter gasket, see if there is anything clogging them. It is recommended to use an old toothbrush to clean them. Please note that there is a spare filter gasket included in the product, so if needed you can replace the gasket
2. If the water is still slow, please shut off water supply and uninstall the entire faucet.
3. Secure a pressure gauge to the water supply hose, turn on the tap and check the gauge reading. If the reading is lower than 60PSI, you have low water pressure and should contact a plumber for help. In case you don't have a water pressure gauge, you can use a 1-litre jug. You have a low water pressure if it takes more than 6 seconds to fill the jug.

Aquaterior Bathroom Faucet: Can I turn the faucet after installation?

No, the faucet direction is fixed after installation, and can only be turned in a specific direction. Please make sure the faucet is not able to be turn after installation cause it means the faucet has not been installed properly. Also, facuet would loosen and separate if it turns frequently, which could lead to leaking leaking. Given to this, please confirm the faucet is fixed on the desk after installation and the direction towards right as you want. And check the stability of the faucet every month in case any loosing and shifting.

1. Please check if water hoses are damaged.
2. Please unscrew water hoses connection. Clearly check rubber rings and threads, make sure they are not defective. Align connectors and threads correctly and tightly screw again.
3. Gaskets could have been displaced. Please check and correctly place them back to where they should be according to manual.

How to clean water stains on my bathroom faucet?

Bathroom faucets can quickly accumulate hard water stains anywhere. It can make a barely new faucet look old and dingy because daily cleaning doesn't remove the buildup.
Firstly, here are some tools and materials you need for cleaning.
1. Water
2. Spray bottle (Evenly attach cleaner to the faucet)
3. Dry clean towel (For drying the faucet after cleaning)
4. Vinegar or lemon juice, salt or baking soda. (Useful cleaner and remover)
5. Microfiber cloth or sponge (For cleaning water stains)
Making cleaning solution:
Vinegar or lemon juice: Mix same parts of water and vinegar or lemon juice. put this solution into an empty spray bottle and spray it on your faucet. Let the solution rest on it for at least 60 minutes.
Salt: Sprinkle salt on the stained areas and allow it to sit for 3-4 hours.
Baking soda: Make a paste by mixing 3-4 tbsp. of baking soda and 1 cup of water. Attach it to the stained spots. Allow it to sit for 4-5 hours.
Cleaning faucet:
After cleaning solution done its job, please slightly wet the microfiber cloth or sponge. Wash stains away thoroughly. For some hard-to-reach spots, you may use an old toothbrush to clean. The bathroom faucets don't currently have the option of controlling the water pressure. If you want the water to flow at a certain pressure or speed, you can use the handles, as you would on a normal faucet. For touchless sensor faucets, water flow is constant. You could adjust the water pressure from the hot and cold-water supply hoses. Simply rotate the taps on the hot and cold-water supply hoses to increase or decrease the water pressure.

1. Confirm if the faucet has been installed properly per the manual. If so, take off the aerator and filter gasket and clean them. Make sure they are not clogged or blocked.
2. Carefully check for leaks in the water supply hoses, joints/connections and the faucet body.
3. Disconnect te water supply hoses and faucet and open the taps of the water supply hoses to check if the water supply is normal. If not, check other taps in your house and confirm with your neighbors or contact the water supply company.
4. If you only get cold water or if both the hot and cold-water supply hoses only have cold water, check that your water heater is functioning properly.
5. During winter, low temperatures can freeze water in the pipes. Confirm with the water company if this could be an issue in your area.
