Can LED lights be used in low temperature and humid places? Like hockey fields?

We do not recommend using the lights in low temperature and humid environments. When used in a low temperature, humid environment, the LED lamp beads are susceptible to moisture and cannot be lit again. Additionally, the series or parallel connection of the damp LED lamp beads may short circuit and cause a fire. It is not recommended to use them after they have become damp.

Would I be able to plug in the LED controller at the house and then extend the wire from the LED controller to the DELight Neon Rope Light?

Yes, you can plug in the LED controller at the house and then extend the wire from the LED controller to the DELight Neon Rope Light. Remote Control with IR remote controller can only be used as replacement remote and controller for DELight neon rope light, which allows for easy adjustment of light brightness and mode via controller.

Are those DELight LED Neon Connectors heat shrinking housings or do I need to buy heat shrink so that they are waterproof?

They are not heat shrinking housings. You need to buy heat shrinkable tubes separately to make them waterproof. It fits for 3/8" x 7/8" (9 x 22 mm) AC110 V Neon Light Size in Cross section. In addition, we suggest you stick the heat shrinkable sleeve with glue, because the sealing property will be better. Or you can buy some shrink tubes with glue directly.
