Tangerine Pumpkins
When designed correctly, tangerines make adorable mini pumpkins! The juicy fruit is a great way to quench your thirst with a natural sweetness. Here’s how you get started:
Ingredients
- Tangerines (seedless)
- Celery stalks and leaves
- Orange peeler (optional)
Instructions
- Use your orange peel to peel the skin off the orange. Then use your finger to remove as much of the white pith membranes as you can.
- Wash your celery sticks. Dry then slice them into smaller pieces.
- Cut 1-2 inch narrow pieces from the tops of the celery and insert them into the peeled tangerines.
A Witch’s Pretzel Broom Sticks
This Halloweeny snack is a completely delicious new twist on a traditional recipe. Forget about the boring cheese and crackers platter that usually bores partiers and replace it with this fun treat. Learn how to make it:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Crisco all-vegetable shortening
- 6 tablespoons cold water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Coarse salt
- String Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl
- Next add water, 1 tablespoon at a time and mix until all ingredients are combined and can be rolled into a ball of dough
- Separate into 1-inch balls then roll each ball into a rope
- Heat oil in deep-fryer to 365ºF
- Fry pretzels for 3 minutes at a time
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with coarse salt
- Strip mozzarella into strips
- Attach mozzarella strips as broom bristles and wrap around with an extra set of cheese to hold the other pieces together
Halloween Monster Pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza? Have you ever considered deep frying pizza? If you haven’t tried it yet, you haven’t lived! Pizza is amazing because you can design your pizza monster any way that you like! After you’ve deep-fried your pizza, enjoy the new taste of the deep-fried treat!
Ingredients
Deep-Fried Crust
- 1 1/2 cups hot water, (110˚F-115˚F)
- 2 1/4 tsp dry active yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the bowl)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Toppings
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 48 slices pepperoni
- 1 tbsp oregano
Instructions
- Mix water, yeast, and sugar. Cover and give 5-10 minutes and allow the yeast to produce foam.
- Turn in olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Remove dough from bowl and add olive oil and grease the sides. Place back in bowl and cover for 60 minutes.
- Turn out on a floured surface. Cut into 8 pieced. Flatten each piece into a circle that is 6-7 inches across.
- Heat oil to 365˚F and fry dough for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown
- Preheat oven to 450˚F
- Add toppings to crusts. (Pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and oregano
- Bake for 7-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Halloween Deep Fried Snacks | Fried Cheese Eyeballs
There is nothing more tasty than delicious and tasty fried foods! Halloween gives us the opportunity to be creative with our food! It’s time to try these delicious fried cheese eyeballs! The simple and easy recipe is as follows:
Ingredients
- 1 8- ounce package cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 green onions whites only minced
- 3-4 tablespoons Chohula or Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
- 10-15 small black olives
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3 cups canola oil
Directions
Step 1. Mix cream cheese, mozzarella, and the white of green onions in a large bowl. Use an ice cream scooper to scoop out the cheese mixture. Stick an olive in the middle of the cheese, hole side up. Fill the hole with hot sauce then cover with a spoonful of the cheese mixture. Mold into a ball and drizzle with more hot sauce. Repeat until mixture is complete.
Step 2. Heat Old in deep fryer to 350 degrees
Step 3: Collect 3 shallow bowls. Fill one bowl with flour, one with whisked eggs, and the last with panko bread crumbs. Dip a cheese ball in the flour, the the egg, then the panko. Repeat until all cheese balls are breaded.
Step 4. Fry each cheese ball for 2 minutes at a time or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel and serve with marinara sauce.
