How low can the water be for the pump to still work?

The submersible pump is connected to the water level control unit. According to the rise and fall of the water level, the float switch of the water level control unit also moves up and down. When the float switch reaches the low water level, it will give a signal to shut down the pump, the control unit will automatically shut down the submersible pump. On the contrary, if the water level rises, the floating switch will give a signal to turn on the pump, and the control unit will automatically turn on the submersible pump to pump water. In this way, you do not need to observe the water level frequently, and also prevents the damage to the submersible pump caused by untimely observation.
The 400W submersible pump can work for 135mm minimum water level
The 550W submersible pump can work for 145mm minimum water level
The 750W submersible pump can work for 145mm minimum water level

How long the pump can run continuously?

The pump can be used continuously for 8 hours.

Submersible Pump: Cleaning & Maintence of Yescom Submersible Pump

Before Every Use
1. Please check the casing and cables if there's any damage.
2. Please check float switch if there's any damage. To inspect the float switch, you can lift and shake the switch to check the free movement of the contained metal balls.
After Every Use
Remember to clean the applicance timely.
How to clean?
1. Cleaning the appliance externally
Rinse with clean water. Remove stubborn contamination with a brush and detergent. Submerge the pump in a container with clean water and switch on for a short time to rinse the inside of the pump.
2. Cleaning the suction area
Clean all accessible insides of the casing. Remove fibres which have wound around the rotor shaft by opening the pressure connection. Remove stubborn contamination with a brush and detergent.
Note:
Before using the pump again, first'soak" it so that any possible dirt residues do not block the appliance.

Submersible Pump: Notice about the installation of submersible pump

1. The appliance can be submerged under water up to the submerged operating depth mentioned.
2. When you install the appliance, please ensure that the suction openings cannot be blocked by foreign bodies (place the appliance on a firm, even base if necessary).
Please ensure that the appliance is stable.
3. Submerge the pump at an angle into the liquid to be delivered so that no air pocket forms on the underside of the appliance. Suction would be prevented by this. Once the pump is submerged, it can be righted again.
4. Leave the pump on the bottom of the liquid container. Use a strong rope attached to the carrying handle of the pump for lowering.
5. Tighten the end of the rope firmly after lowering.
6. The pump can also be operated while suspended on a rope.
Risk of damage to the appliance
Do not lift the pump with the cable or pressure hose as these are not designed for the tensile stress from the weight of the pump.
For operation with rope:
Do not operate the pump without pressure hose.
Avoid the pump twisting around its longitudinal axis.

Submersible Pump: Installation and commissioning of submersible pump

Installation and commissioning
Attach a sufficiently long and strong rope to the handle before first use. The pump is submerged into the liquid on this holding rope and can also be carried with it as well as with the handle.
Notice:
In the case of continuous use of the pump with the rope, the condition of the rope must be checked regularly as it can decay and break over time.
Connecting pressure pipe
1. For occasional use, use a suitable water hose.
2. The use of rigid pipes with a non-return valve is recommended for use at a fixed location. This prevents return flow of the liquid when switching off.
-Screw pressure line onto the pressure connection.
3. All threaded connections must be sealed with thread sealing tape.
-When using a hose, screw a suitable hose adapter onto the pressure connection.
- Push the hose firmly onto the hose adapter and secure with a hose clamp.

Submersible Pump: 5 Must-know things before you use the submersible pump

1. The appliance is intended for pumping rainwater, fresh water, mains water and chlorinated swim-ming pool water.
2. It must not be used for the drinking water supply or for the delivery of foodstuffs.
3. Explosive, flammable, aggressive or health-hazardous substances and faecal matter must not be pumped.
4. The appliance is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
5. The appliance is not suitable for continuous running (e. g. permanent circulation in filter systems). It is also not suitable for use with liquids containing abrasive materials (e. g. sand) or con-taining mixtures of dirt, sand, mud or clay. Any other use is considered improper. Unpredictable damage can occur as a result of improper use, modifications to the appliance or due to the use of parts which have not been tested and approved by the manufacturer!
Notice: It cannot be load without water, can not be used for long time more than 5-6 hours

Submersible Pump: Pump does not run

1. No mains voltage: Please check cables, plug, socket and fuse and ensure that they are connected correctly
2. The motor overheats due to: a. Liquid temperature too high; b. Blocking by foreign bodies;
Eliminate the cause of the overheating (max, temperature of liquid)
3. Residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) triggered: Activate RCCB
4. Automatic power-off low water level float: Manval vertical float motor normal power, start the pump without water, will damage the water pump, manual vertical float when used must be care.

Submersible Pump: Pump runs but does not pump

1. Suction opening blocked: Rectify blockage
2. Pump draws in air: 1). Keep the pump at an angle while submerging.
2). Switch the pump on and off several times in order to expel air.
3. Pump blocked by foreign materials: Clean suction opening
4. Seal leakage: Fill water and expel the air inside. Dip the machine in more depth in the water and allow enough space around. Eliminate the eddy if any. Open the bottom valve and alleviate congestion. Decrease the damage to the tube and pipe. Increase NPSH (net positive suction head)

Submersible Pump: Delivery rate is too low

1. Delivery height too great / low: Comply with maximum delivery height
2. Press line diameter too small: Use pressure line with larger diameter
3. Pressure line blocked: Rectify blockage
4. Suction opening blocked: Clean suction opening
5. Pressure line kinked / blocked: Straighten pressure line;
Eliminate the blockage on the pressure line;
7. Pressure line leaks: Seal pressure line, tighten threaded connection
8. Pump impeller and motor blade are congested: Eliminate the congestion on the pump impeller and motor blade
9. Not enough rotating speed: Increase rotating speed
10. Not dipped deep enough hence eddy occurs: Dip the machine in more depth in the water and allow enough space around.
Eliminate the eddy if any
11. Parts are aged: Replacing aged parts

Submersible Pump: Pump shakes and runs very loudly

1. Pump draws in air:
Ensure there is sufficient liquid present;
Keep the pump at an angle while submerging;
2. The pump's basic strength is not enough / pump's weight is too light
Increase basic strength / weight
3. Inner parts are loosened or suspended
Ensure the parts are not loosened or suspended
4. Pump and motor shaft are not well aligned
Ensure the pump and motor are well aligned
5. Pump is not well secured

Submersible Pump: Pump overload

Reasons:
This problem may be caused by excessively running power.
Resolutions:
1. Properly adjust packing gland.
2. Alleviate friction.
3. Change main bearing and ensure its is well aligned.
4. Ensure the tube and pipe system is unblocked.
5. Properly adjust the pump's rotating speed.
6. Proper solve the imbalance issue between the power supply and the electricity current.

Submersible Pump: Friction or difficulty of rotating parts

1. Main bearing is bent
